Eurofidai is a CNRS Joint Service Unit (UMS 2748). Its mission is to develop European stock exchange databases that are useful to finance researchers.
Verified, controlled and homogeneous datas
Empirical research concerning European financial markets is currently hindered by several factors, among which are high access costs to financial and stock exchange data and the difficulty to obtain quality data.
That’s why Eurofidai works in creating verified, controlled and homogeneous databases over long periods. Eurofidai is the only organisation providing European market databases that respond to these problems.
European datas
A database for stocks and indexes covering four european countries is already available, as well as a high frequency intraday database dealing with French market stocks and derivatives. Databases for the other European countries are currently being developed.
