

EUROFIDAI Data Access & Research Grant
Within the framework of ANR Equipex PLADIFES (ANR-21-ESRE-0036) and France 2030.
EUROFIDAI invites researchers, academics, and PhD students affiliated with academic or research institutions to submit innovative research proposals that leverage our comprehensive financial databases to advance knowledge in finance, economics, and related fields.
In total, EUROFIDAI is dedicated to providing financial support for ten (10) high-impact research projects that utilize EUROFIDAI data extensively and have the potential to lead to publications in top peer-reviewed journals (Categories 0+, 0, 0’, and 1 in the ESSEC 2024 Journal Ranking).
The Databases
EUROFIDAI offers the following databases for academic research:
Daily Data:
- Securities: Historical data on Stocks, Benchmark indices, Global/Market Indices (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Oceania), Mutual Funds, Corporate Events, Exchange Rates (world).
- ESG: Environmental, Social, and Governance Raw Data metrics for more than 75,000 corporations worldwide. Database powered by Clarity AI.
- Green Bonds: Green, sustainability, sustainability-linked, social, and transition bonds. 5,610 bonds worldwide with 50% from Europe.
- Liquidity and Volatility: Daily financial metrics built from EUROFIDAI high-frequency data for primary exchanges (Euronext Paris, London Stock Exchange, and Xetra).
High-Frequency (HFT) Data:
- Market Data: Exclusive high-frequency trade and order data covering key European trading venues: primary exchanges (Euronext Paris, London Stock Exchange, Xetra), MTFs (CBOE Europe CXE/BXE/DXE, Turquoise), and derivatives markets (Eurex).
- Order Books: Custom limit order books can be generated upon request for a selected list of ISINs from EUROFIDAI high-frequency data, with customizable frequency and depth.

Eligibility and Process
Interested applicants should submit a proposal (max. 5 pages) including:
- Title and Abstract of the research project.
- Research Objectives and hypotheses.
- Methodology, including how EUROFIDAI data will be utilized.
- Expected Contributions to the literature.
- Timeline and milestones.
- Curriculum Vitae of the applicant(s).
- List of EUROFIDAI datasets required (specify Daily and/or HFT, markets, years, etc.).
Proposals should be submitted in PDF format to qr@eurofidai.org with the subject line:
"EUROFIDAI Research Proposal – [Applicant’s Name]"
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated by a committee based on:
- Originality and relevance of the research question.
- Feasibility and rigor of the methodology.
- Potential for high-impact publications.
- Alignment with EUROFIDAI’s data strengths (e.g., extensive use of Daily and/or HFT datasets).
Award Details
- Data Access: Successful applicants will receive full access to the relevant EUROFIDAI databases (Daily and/or HFT) for the duration of their project.
Research Grant: A research budget of €10,000 will be awarded to support the project (e.g., for research assistance, data processing, software, or conference participation).
- A first payment of €5,000 is awarded upon acceptance of the project.
- The remaining €5,000 will be awarded upon acceptance for publication in a journal on the list of qualified journals.
The committee is responsible for a regular follow-up on the accepted projects.
- Duration: The outcome of the selected projects is expected to be submitted for publication to a scientific journal within 24 months from the date of award.
Deadline
Proposals must be submitted by November 1st, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
